Tavington Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Countzy mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All data created within the App is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
- Countdown data: Titles, dates, and descriptions of countdowns you create.
- Photos: If you choose to set a custom background photo for a countdown, the image is stored locally on your device.
- Notification preferences: Your notification settings and schedules.
- App preferences: Theme, display settings, and subscription status.
Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions, all of which are used locally:
- Camera: Only when you choose to take a photo for a countdown background. Photos are stored on your device and are not uploaded anywhere.
- Photo Library: Only when you choose to select an existing photo for a countdown background.
- Calendar: Only when you choose to import calendar events as countdowns. Calendar data is read locally and is not transmitted anywhere.
- Notifications: Only to send you local reminders for your countdowns.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat: To manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase and device identifiers as part of processing transactions. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Play / Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases, subject to their respective privacy policies.
Data Storage and Security
- All your data is stored exclusively on your device.
- We do not operate any servers or databases that store your data.
- We do not sell, trade, or share any information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be removed.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy.
